Does anyone know how many OB students Foster (university of Washington) is admitting and whether it has sent out OB invites? The e-mail said they met today

They sent me a email that I am on their wait list today.

Hi! I’m the person that asked about NYU Marketing acceptances on the results board about whether accepted applicants have committed/made their decisions. Would appreciate me if you could respond or dm me here. Thanks!

a general question, how should I email schools that i have interviewed with? Just ask for an update on my status? Is it better to state whether I have acceptances from other schools?

Also, if i havent gotten an interview at this stage, is it more or less safe to say that I won’t be getting one?

Has anyone heard from UNC Kenan-Flagler, UCLA Anderson, Maryland, or USC Marshall for OB? I haven't seen anything posted in the results so just checking here to see if anyone has any info before I reach out to the schools. Thanks!

I haven't heard anything from USC Marshall. Have you reached out to them yet asking for an update?

Someone I know is on the shortlist for OB at USC Marshall. They heard about this several weeks ago.

Hi guys! I applied to more than 20 top 40 Finance PhD programs in the U.S. and have been interviewed by 7 of them. I was waitlisted by Yale, rejected by around 10 programs, and have not been admitted by any of them. Below are the programs that I heard back from them.

UNC Chapel Hill - Interviewed for the first round; didn't get in the 2nd round

UW Seattle - One-way interview via SpirkHire; Still waiting for response

Boston College - One-way interview via SpirkHire

UT Austin - Interviewed; was told I am in the finalist; waiting

CMU - Interviewed; waiting

Rice - 2nd round interview next week

Rochester - rejected after interview

Yale - waitlisted; no interview

I didn't see anyone discussing about the Finance PhD applications/results here. I guess I will be the first one haha. Is there anyone else still in the tortuous waiting game? Can you share any updates/news you have about the programs mentioned above? (Has anyone heard back from UCI and Maryland?)

Another question: Do you guys know the yield rate for Yale PhD program? How is my chance getting into Yale? Is there anyone else also waitlisted/offered?

Thank you guys! Good luck on all of us!

Former faculty at Yale SOM here , as you are well aware, this track is profoundly competitive-yield typically hovers around 90 percent, give or take a couple of ticks.

So how is everyone doing? How are decisions coming along? Personally, I am struggling to make a choice and want to have this process done with.

I'm with you!  I declined a few offers, am holding onto one, and am waiting for one last program to release a decision. Planning to accept the offer in hand if I don't hear from them soon.

It will certainly be nice for the process to end in the next few weeks.

I'm trying to decide between 2 offers right now, but I keep waiting to hear back from one school that's my dream school. I want to just make my decision and enjoy my time before the fall too.

  • 2 weeks later...

I interviewed with Rutgers 3 weeks ago and when I asked for a timeline they told me to expect a response as soon as possible. Would it be too hasty to ask for an update and should I tell them that I have other offers?
