Boolakanaka Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 What’s the old saw—the rich get richer. While its has an international affairs focus, this is sure to attract much more student interest, as one of the areas that is certain to be shored up is student aid. Like most graduate/professional programs at Yale, this means meeting full demonstrated need.
auditorteladan Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Apparently, Jackson will be upgraded as a larger Public Policy School in 2022..
EscapingBrexit Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 I think @GradSchoolGradsuggested that it wanted to become more like Princeton student aid wise! That would be good news for many students!
GradSchoolGrad Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 You have to realize that not all of this will go into scholarships. A lot of it will go into capital plans.
EscapingBrexit Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Of course! Curious to see what 150 mill buys you. A new building, some big professors?
wildchartermage Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Anyone applied to Jackson MA? Still waiting to hear back.
grad12345 Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I did, still waiting as well. Somewhere on the website they say that they send out decisions in early March, so hopefully we'll know soon! wildchartermage 1
Just Some Guy Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 FYI, looks like they just released their MA results. I didn't get in, but best of luck to everyone else!
grad12345 Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Yeah I just saw it, also didn't get in.. good luck to the rest of you!
wildchartermage Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 (edited) I just got in! But no information about if I am awarded a scholarship or not - it's not clear. Did anyone get a notice of scholarship? Also, if you're a joint degree applicant to SOM and Jackson, let me know! Edited March 8, 2021 by wildchartermage prokem 1
hip-hop-2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Anyone know whether there is a minimum financial aid package all accepted students receive? Thought it might be 1/2 tuition based off of recent webinars. wildchartermage 1

I'm sure I pretty much checked off that box that I am requesting for fin aid.
AMA_AMA Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Anyone know what stipend amounts at Jackson are considered normal? wildchartermage 1
RealistPalan Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 How does Jackson compare to the much older programs of SPIA, HKS, SPIA and the rest?
