has anyone heard anything within the last 2 days? I have a deposit deadline tm and admissions said everyone would hear back at the latest early this week

Nope! Last time I talked to admissions they said by the end of this week. I think they keep pushing it back.

Financial Aid packages came through at like 10PST last night (which, whatever, lol) and... oof

I think last nights was federal financial aid only

Do you know when scholarships/grant awards might be going out? I accepted my offer at another school because I have not heard from UW about scholarships yet but keeping it in the running because of convenience and location for me.

Ive heard by the end of this week but I think theres no guarantee

this is what I received today, I guess it may be longer than this week. 

“Award decisions regarding scholarships are still pending, but we will notify all applicants considered, however, when scholarships have been exhausted. I'm sorry that we do not have a more definitive timeline and appreciate your patience.”

I have no clue? But also like they’ve already given two definitive timelines lol how long must we wait

nope. i chatted with one of the specialists or assistants or something and got an answer that was along the lines of "scholarships are far and few between this year and if we don't give you enough money then maybe UW isn't the school for you"

which has basically completely turned me off to the program. i got more scholarship money from other programs and i have decisions that are due to other programs this week. this is very unprofessional and obnoxious on uw's part.

That's bizarre, because when I went to a presentation last week they said 'we just got a huge donation so that may be good news for a lot of you.' Wtf? Did you talk to a student specialists or an employee?

that is VERY bizarre. i don't like that they're telling people different things? this was an employee. i was going to go to that presentation last week but had something come up last minute so i would've loved to hear that. the cost of this program is oppressive and i just don't really understand what... the big hold up is?

When I reached out earlier, they basically said the same thing to me. I’ve stopped holding out hope of getting a substantial scholarship from UW. At this point, I’m seriously considering other programs.

anyone hear anything yet? I know that today was the deadline for people to accept or decline some scholarships/fellowships that went out, but judging by this thread it seems not a lot have aid has been offered past the exorbitant federal loans.

They just sent an email saying they have awarded all funds. Loved the false hope from admissions but glad I put in my deposit for Penn in time. Good luck to you all!  hope yall fared better
