Info for anyone wondering: deposit is $250, have until Apr 29 to respond to the offer but until June something to pay the deposit. Got $6000 admission scholarship ($2000 for first 3 terms if you keep grades up) due to GPA 9.0 or greater on uOttawa scale.

Congrats!! I got an acceptance there for Epi as well.

I accepted my offer to UofT MPH Epi since that was my first choice. I'm a current uottawa undergrad so I really just applied as a backup in case I didn't get in at uoft. I was hoping to continue with my honours project lab but they don't have the funding for another MSc student so I'd have to find a new lab too. I prefer the practicum aspect of the MPH at uoft (rather than a thesis) and that it's also specializing in epi rather than a general MPH.

Hoping this is the week we hear back from UofT MPH Health Promo! Has anyone heard about any offers going out last week? I know the website says offers start going out end of March but haven't heard about anyone receiving a response yet.

Got my official offer to uoft health pro just now! will be accepting and declining UofA Health pro, and removing myself from the western and mcmaster waitlists. Good luck everyone!!

Thank you! I have 3.8/4.0 average. Experience in public health research with one publication. Also have some experience working in community organizations. I also took a lot of social science courses which I know UofT looks for! Hope that helps

Has anybody not gotten an email from mcmaster mph yet? i'm seeing posts on here about people getting rejected/waitlisted but I still haven't heard back from them and I'm getting worried.

I have not gotten any response either. Just "Under Review".

I got an acceptance email on the 8th, but in the portal it still says under review. The email said it may take up to 2 week to update in the portal though.

When I asked if it was possible to get an extension on the April 12 deadline to respond they said no lol, but the latest extended date they could allow was April 15, so my guess is they want to send out second round offers maybe on or around or after Easter weekend? They may take longer though if they actually do a second round of reviews and don't just keep going down the list from the initial file review score
