Thanks for sharing. I also got off the alternate list at uOttawa last Friday. I’m assuming lists get updated every Friday. Good luck to all of you!

Just checking in - is anyone else still on the alternate list, and still checking every day? I am convinced it won't be updated until the last possible day at the last possible minute... Lol.

Wow super shocked since it's August but I just got off the alternate list at UofT and received an offer!! So, if anyone is still listed as an alternate, take this as proof that you may still have a chance

I'm still an alternate at U of C but have assumed I won't be getting it. I won the AGES scholarship instead, which is less money but still very substantial, so I'm no longer upset about not getting SSHRC this year!

Just here to chime in that it doesn't hurt to hope!!

I've been listed as an alternate since April 1, 2022 and ground out an application for the 2023-2024 cycle, which would've been the last year I was eligible to apply. I just got notification I was awarded a CIHR this morning ?
