I only applied to UVic - still under review by department.

Anyone know when admission decisions are supposed to start coming out?

Im not really sure 😕 but as per last year, few acceptances were sent out as early as 15th Feb.

Woah, that's crazy! I think most people were sent acceptances at the end of March last year.

Hi everyone! Just recently discovered gradcafe, and I'm also in the process for grad schools. Applied to U of A for the Global Health stream, and my application status is currently under review since the 24th. Wishing everyone the best of luck!

Hey no, it hasn't. Their status always stays the same, you just get a notification via email when you a get an acceptance/rejection email to see status page.

I applied to Waterloo and UAlberta MPH, I'm still waiting to hear back!

How were you able to apply in the Global health stream at U of A ? they have suspended all the MPH specialisation streams and the only MPH program that exist is the  new general MPH commencing fall 2023.

I applied, but they don't send anything till the end of March or the beginning of April; they have it on the website, and I checked last year's thread, and it was the same.

Thank you so much for this! I didn't know that was the case. I kept checking back on the portal so see if the status would move to "under review" at some point. Thanks for your help

Oh yes! I forgot to specify that I'm applying for MSc and not MPH, but since both programs are part of the school of public health, I'm in this thread to look out for news! Sorry for any confusion, haha!

Congratulations!!  I know that people who got in last year received an acceptance email and then their portal updated like a week later. I haven't received anything yet from UofA!

I applied to UVic's MPH Program. My status is currently "Under review by the department." Struggling to focus on this last semester while I wait to hear if I get in or not.
