It was a big shock to me as I already made my peace that I didn't have a chance at this one. The letter dated Feb 18, 2011. There will be an open house on March 14. Good luck to everyone! I know this can be the case for a masters but I expected that normally Ph.D applicants would get a phone call at least . EDIT: Sorry, I think I misunderstood the posts. I think I will reapply next year. I am going to call the department and see if they can tell me anything about my app that I can improve for next year. It can't hurt to ask.
