Hi guys! I am applying to UBC SLP this year and was hoping to get a better grasp on stats of successful/competitive candidates (I don't really know anyone who has applied/got accepted in the past). If anyone is willing to share their grade average, experiences and any other insight I'd love to hear! Thanks.

Hey! Did u just apply to UBC? I applied to Ontario schools, McGill, and Sask.

hey! just wondering-- to apply to sask's new program, do you have to be a resident of sask, nunavut, yukon, or nw territories?  i found their requirements a bit unclear, as i saw other parts on the webpage that said you simply just had to be a canadian citizen.

They said that it is on a case by case basis but I do think if we are not a resident we may have a weaker chance. However, I also heard that they are waiving that requirement but I am unsure if that is true or not.

Hi everyone! I am intending to apply to UofT, McMaster, and UWO Speech and Language Pathology programs in the upcoming application cycle (2027). I would love to hear everyone's experience applying (process, interviews, etc.), where they got their prerequisites, what volunteer/work opportunities they had going into the application cycle, etc. I am a little worried that I have to take three prerequisites (one more physiology course, one linguistics course, and one phonetics course), and I'm not sure if I can pull that off before applications open. Does anyone have any experience getting their prerequisites and applying within the same year?

Another question I had was about UofT's prerequisites. I majored in Psychology and took several courses that were related to child development or talked about child language acquisition, but upon looking at UofT's list of accepted prerequisites, I found out that none of those are accepted as valid prerequisites. Is there any way I could reach out to the department and explain my case, or would that be frowned upon?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I got one as well at 3.92!

Finding it hard to know what to expect ... I did well on the CASPer for UWO's admissions but I don't know how similar or different MMI will be!

Does anyone know if all MMI invites go out at the same time? My subGPA is 3.93 but I didn't get one. I did have an international transcript submitted past the deadline so I'm not sure if that's going to affect my application.

Nor have I. We should hear back by the end of this week, right?

I have just sent them an email enquiring about this, as I assume today is the last day they would be sending out the timeslots if they stick to "end of February"!

Hi! How’d everyone feel about the McMaster MMI? Also anyone know when Dalhousie and mcgill will start sending out results? I know they say may on their websites but last year they seemed to start sending out some acceptances in mid-March.
