Sure, GRE quant 800, verbal 660, analytical 4.0. Subject test 830.

I have no clear specialization area yet, although i have quite extensive work experience from virtual worlds / internet company.

Also admitted to CMU, but have not heard from Berkeley or Cornell yet.

I asked my professor at MIT when MIT are going to send out their decision, he said it will be in next week.

I didn't asked what happened to me because

I feel a little bit uncomfortable to ask my "personal" result to a professor who may not be in charge of admission stuff (no matter he already know it or not.)

(Am I right? :D )

good luck to everyone here !!

should've asked him if octav1an got in

the nervousness is killing me

Haha, octav1an.

If you are really curious about it, you may make a call to the admission coordinator a couple of days later.

She is very nice so she may let you know what happened.

I might ask it next Mon or Tue .... the admission office is just 20m away from where I am.... >.<

Anyway, let's be bold and brave. Next week we may see plethora of decision-out !

Hi,

To the guy who posted in the results section about the phone call from Stanford: Can you elaborate further? Was it an interview or just a congratulatory phone call? In what area in CS did you apply?

It was a congratulatory phone call. My areas of specialization are machine learning and robotics. :-)

Great profile! Congrats again.

Mine:

GRE Q800/V550/AWA 4.5, undergraduate GPA 3.7 (non-US), graduate GPA: 4.0 (top 10 CS school), 1 publication in a top ACM conference (2nd author), 2 publications under review (first author in both), 1 US patent application, 4 yrs work experience. I intend to specialize in networked systems.

I guess I am out of luck this time, didn't hear from any schools I applied to.

Hi, Guys...

Today I just walked in the graduate office of MIT, and asked about when I'm going to be notified...

She said I can see the decision on the webpage (where you submitted your application to) at Feb 17th.

But I guess if you are admitted, you may get it earlier. (via an email or a package).
