On the same theme as the last post, does anyone know about the PhD program at Louisana Tech? I know it is a relatively new program, but it seems to have some great features which the in house consulting firm. Any responses or insight is appreciated.

Ruston is actually not that bad. It's a good environment to get a PhD.

Rent is cheap and the neighborhoods are quiet.

As you mentioned, the program is new, but it really has a lot to offer.

I am really excited about the potential of the program, as of now, that is where I will be headed.

Which other schools were you accepted to if you do not mind me asking?

Congratulations BTW!

Thank you!! I was also accepted into Wayne State's MA and Elmhurst's MA programs. I was on a "short list" at UConn's PhD program so I sent them all my declining e-mail yesterday. Hope this helps!
