jkaasik Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I graduated from LSE last year with my MSc in international political economy and am waiting to hear from both international economics and IR. For the PhD or MA? I look forward to finding out how your application goes! Best of luck!
wasa Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 For those admitted to the Master in International Economics, feel free to join our facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/455453341193466/ jkaasik: I majored in Philosophy & Economics, so approximately a third of my undergrad classes were non-economic.
lecorbeau Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Congratulations to everyone that has been admitted! I hope I get to meet many of you next year in Geneva!
Jean Jacques Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Did anyone here apply for a PhD program? Also, those who got into the international economics program... did you have a strictly economic undergrad/bachelor's, or did you do something else? I'm graduating with a master's degree in international commerce and policy in may (econ focused) and am hoping to attend the graduate institute for a PhD, so I'm hoping to get in touch with some people applying there =) Hi jkaasik, I got into the IR/PS PhD Program today - unfortunately w/o funding for the first year...

I'm thinking about applying for that program next year. If you have some time, would you mind if I sent you a message with some questions?

kobakan8 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Is there anybody who got the feedback of housing decision? Is it possible for us to stay in the IHEID's dormitory during the French course before semester starts?
Jean Jacques Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Is there anybody who got the feedback of housing decision? Is it possible for us to stay in the IHEID's dormitory during the French course before semester starts? I am still waiting for this as well. Last week's email said they would send decisions out by the end of the week. However, I didn't receive anything electronically. Did anyone with a physically mailed application package receive any new about housing?

I just checked my online application status, and found the housing decision is "Refused" even didn't get any message from admission. I have to look for some apartment by myself.. redflower37 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I am so glad I found this thread! Just today, I signed up on gradcafe because I was confused about what I wanted to do. I am still an undergraduate student, in my third year, double majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in French. After finding this thread, and doing some research, I am very much interested in perhaps applying to IHEID in the future. Congratulations to all of you! What was the application process like? I don't think I can apply right after I graduate with my Bachelor's, but am hoping to gain some experience. What would you recommend? What were your experiences like?
went_away Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I got rejected here, but got into Fletcher with a 1/3 Fellowship. Hooray for American schools' admissions committees.

HanaSad Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Hi , I just saw some threads on graduate institute Geneva where I am planning to apply for 2017 spring or fall , whichever favors the circumstance . I know is bit early to be concerned but I just wanted to know if you got in since you applied for 2013-14 fall and if you did, whether you are studying there because that would be very helpful . I finished my undergrad 2 years ago with joint international development and sociology and now looking into doing Masters in Development studies , with specialisaton in multilateral trade, human and social development or Conflict , development and sustainability. Pease let me know the different processes of applicatons and if you have been successful the basic elements to SOP and other work experiences ( i have few dev work experience but primarily involved with private family business currently). Many Thanks,
hbkhan Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Hello everyone. All those who got in Masters in International Economics, what were your GRE scores?
