So how many schools are we all still waiting to hear from?

I'm waiting for 2.

I'm still waiting from both of mine. I was sure Purdue would have sent out acceptance already (the coordinator said they would have urgh). I've already contacted them once so I'm scared to again.

CONGRATS Hermes!! KILLING. IT.

Thanks!! UPenn was the only place that was a real contender with Cornell for me, so this decision just got really hard.

Hope the waiting process ends quickly for everyone!

Thankfully already have two acceptances to ponder, but waiting to hear from Michigan State and Arizona, which had a late deadline of 2/1. Hope to hear by the end of the month.

I contacted the department and decisions on interviews have not been made. They will send out requests for interviews mid-late February.

Any new on NYU's cinema studies department, by any chance?

I'm still waiting on Pitt and MSU (MIS program, not comm.) but since there have been acceptances at both already, I'm assuming the worst. Luckily I have 5 to choose from so far...

Congrats! RPI seems really cool.

Congrats!  Sorry about not responding to your earlier post.  I was at a conference presenting 4 papers and chairing a roundtable.

Officially got accepted at Kansas.  Thus, I'm only waiting to hear from Penn State and Wisconsin (but I assume I've been rejected at both).  The application and waiting season are almost at an end for me and the beginning of the decision season looms ever larger.

Congrats!! You have so many acceptances -- do you know yet which one you'll choose?

Congrats everyone! It looks like you'll all have some decisions to make coming up.

Thanks.  I won't be deciding for a while.  .

Was told to follow up "mid-February" to inquire about funding specifics from UCSB.

I followed up today.

Sigh.

Was told to follow up again next week.

Rejected from Pitt. Saw it coming, but any rejection stings, regardless. Here's hoping there will be one acceptance among the other 7 applications..

King--

I was rejected from 4 of the 5 schools I applied to. It only takes one!

I have been lurking around on here, but I was accepted at NCSU last week. I'm excited, but they said they had to wait to extend a funding offer. Should know more before April 15th. Frankly, without at least a tuition waiver, I can't swing it. *sigh* I'm in AZ, I'm not entirely sure how out-of-state tuition works for a PhD.
