@calilifeYes!! That's me! I got the official! :):) Are you still going to Oregon State? If so, Mr. Catania and Ms. Dolcini are amazing!

It seems like I'm leaning that way based on funding!

Uff! Almost a week without any posts here...
I'm excited to consider my current options, but it's hard to do that before I know the decisions from all my applications.

Anybody else still waiting on decisions?! I haven't heard back from 2 of my 7 yet.
(Stanford, one of my top choices, included. They won't pick up the phone or answer e-mails about application status... Great!)

I know it's so quiet here and in the Results section! Congrats on your acceptances! And good luck with Stanford, such a pretty school.

I'm still waiting on UCLA, the last of my six. Actually heard rejections from the other five so I'm rethinking my goals and figuring out how to approach this in the future, because at this point I'm not banking on UCLA turning out. Would be great if it did though! :)

Doesn't make sense. I mean, it's almost April 1st. Surely, if you are part of the admission committee, what is the logic in 'sleeping with admission decisions under your pillow'...? Why not SEND them out? Why not?

Yes, always do!

I'm surprised considering my horrible gre scores (153/153/3.5w). GRE's are not everything!

Received my final decision and it was a rejection. Four out of seven ain't bad.

I'm waiting on funding! Even more stressful than acceptances.

Good luck on your wait too...
Hopefully we'll be all dealing with new kinds of stress in the near future! ;)

Grad Studies: Took 10 courses that count for an MPH as an undergraduate at my home institution
GRE: 87%V/71%Q/93%W.

Attending: UNC MSPH-PhD Cancer Epidemiology (with a focus on molecular methods and racial health disparities)

My background is in the hard sciences, so I'm a relative newcomer to epi and public health. I worked previously in a lab that does breast cancer disparities research and that's where I plan to focus in the future, but my current research is into neurodegenerative disorders in more of a biochem/biophysics lab.  @EpiGirl2016 It sounds like we might be working on pretty similar projects/with pretty similar faculty members -- do you mind if I ask who was assigned as your adviser?

PMed you!
