EpiHereIGo! Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Uff! Almost a week without any posts here... I'm excited to consider my current options, but it's hard to do that before I know the decisions from all my applications. Anybody else still waiting on decisions?! I haven't heard back from 2 of my 7 yet. (Stanford, one of my top choices, included. They won't pick up the phone or answer e-mails about application status... Great!)

I know it's so quiet here and in the Results section! Congrats on your acceptances! And good luck with Stanford, such a pretty school. I'm still waiting on UCLA, the last of my six. Actually heard rejections from the other five so I'm rethinking my goals and figuring out how to approach this in the future, because at this point I'm not banking on UCLA turning out. Would be great if it did though! Edited March 22, 2016 by 2016Epi PhDinPublicHealthHopeful 1

I mean, it's almost April 1st. Surely, if you are part of the admission committee, what is the logic in 'sleeping with admission decisions under your pillow'...? Why not SEND them out? Why not? calilife Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Received my final decision and it was a rejection. Four out of seven ain't bad.
PublicHealthLady Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Has anyone heard back from Ohio State Epidemiology?

I worked previously in a lab that does breast cancer disparities research and that's where I plan to focus in the future, but my current research is into neurodegenerative disorders in more of a biochem/biophysics lab. @EpiGirl2016 It sounds like we might be working on pretty similar projects/with pretty similar faculty members -- do you mind if I ask who was assigned as your adviser? PMed you!
