So I got accepted to FSU's online distance learning program for my masters in speech-language pathology. I haven't heard much about it. This is my first and only acceptance (I'm still waiting to hear from the others) Does anyone have reviews or heard anything from people currently in the program? Thanks!

Hi! I have heard great things about their distance program. I did my undergrad at FSU, and also completed their Bridge Program (which was online), and loved all the professors! The professors are great and very helpful!

Thanks for the reply! I heard it was unorganized at times did you feel this way at all? I guess I'm afraid of not having easy access to professors when I have questions/concerns.

Hmm.. I don't think it was ever unorganized! I have friends who are in the regular graduate program, and seem to love it! When I was in the Bridge program, I was always able to email a professor, and they replied pretty fast. And I feel like they always took the time to help you out if you had a question or needed any tutoring! I would keep asking around just in case, but I never had a bad experience with the professors or with the Bridge Program. But it may be different for graduate school!

Hi everyone! cmontcer, did you end up deciding to attend FSUs distance learning grad program last year? I was just accepted there yesterday (phew!) and am waiting to hear back from some other Florida schools.

Does anyone know whether students are able to continue working (full or part-time) during this program? It is about 6 - 8 credits per semester so it seems like it would be reasonable to at least work part-time.

Also, are the Stafford loan limits different for a part-time program than they are for full-time?

Thanks!

I was just accepted to FSUs distance SLP program as well and would love some more information.  I haven't been able to find many reviews on the program.

@Andrea6813If you follow @thesocialspeechie on instagram she goes to FSU's online distance program and would be able to answer any of your questions if you dm her! She also has a YouTube channel (the social speechie) and explains what the program is like in some of her videos!
