brains1234566 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 UCI sent me a dean's packet thanking me for my application and saying I might enjoy the brochure while my application is "under review". What does this mean? The interview is in ten days and I have not actually been invited to one... Why are they sending me this?

It doesn't mean anything beyond that. I received a private vimeo video from CU-Boulder that had information (about the labs there, living in Boulder) recently. It is just information they give everyone who applied so you can be informed, like fuzzy said it doesn't mean anything other than you are an applicant. Edited January 10, 2017 by .letmeinplz//

While I'm glad they keep in touch, and it does feel nice to be remembered, it also makes my heart STOP to see any mail or email from schools during this time of high anticipation. DBear 1

Not to mention that it can get a tad confusing if you have no visibility into the process and have no clue where your application is (except under review )
