Hexonxonx Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Has anyone heard of acceptance by UNC Chapel Hill for the PhD program or from William & Mary PhD or EdS programs for school psychology for fall 2017?

PSYPhDAPP Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Just barely found this thread so I apologize for my delayed post! School: Florida State UniversityProgram: Clinical Psychology PhDDate of Notification: 02/20/17Method of Notification: Email from POIThoughts: Super thrilled since FSU was my first choice, and a little surprised. I thought I had bombed interview day and I was the only undergraduate interviewing for my POI. Though I think they may have accepted more than one student.
dancedementia Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Accepted across the board! Will be starting at Texas State this summer. Congrats everyone so far!

I appreciate it. Yes, it apparently is one of the most competitive programs in the country, so I am still kinda amazed. Here's to hoping imposter syndrome doesn't kick in, but keeping just enough of it to always remain humble.
fritolay Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 off the waitlist and accepted to UCSB! School emphasis in the combined program! Super excited, but now I need to make a decision between 2 amazing programs That Research Lady and 8BitJourney 2

lilgradie123 Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Is anyone else still waiting to hear on Sam Houston or has gotten in? Not-so-patiently waiting/hoping to get off the waitlist....

I just had my interview this morning haha Do you mind if I ask what your financial aid/funding offer was from Ferkauf? I'm interested in their program for the future but the high cost of tuition has me wary
fritolay Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 @dancedementia No problem! From what I understand they do not typically offer much financial aid and the tuition is definitely high. I was actually offered a 20k/year scholarship later on which was extremely generous and is probably very rare (and was a HUGE surprise). I'm not sure how that decision to give me that offer was made, but it is definitely a possibility.

Everything happened so quick but I am thrilled. Sherrinford 1
