Not much of an update, but I just received an e-mail that the adcomm is holding it's final meeting today, and that all decisions will be made early next week. This pretty much corresponds to the magical date of the 18th we were given before. To those waiting on fellowship notices, good luck! To those of us in limbo, good luck!

My e-mail came from the grad division. I have heard nothing from the English department. I received a fellowship offer, so that might explain the early notification. Perhaps other notifications will be on their way soon. My status on Gradsis has changed. I can no longer "check status," but I can "view admissions decision" where it says "graduate division offer." I am really pulling for all the UCR hopefuls on here!!!

I really wasn't sure I'd get in anywhere, so my one so far feels great! If it's the only one I get, I'd still be ecstatic!

Congrats on whatever your peep is!!!! I am still floating from my Valentine's Day acceptance, so hoping there's more Valentine's love still to go around!!!!

FWIW, with the fellowship I just received at Riverside, it gives me the first year off from teaching. I think without it first year students would teach.

If I hadn't received an encouraging e-mail from OSU I'd be going sooo crazy right now. They are the only school that has acknowledged my existence so far. I am anxiously awaiting the 18th... and dreading that they won't notify the next round of admits until the day after or something.

So... apparently none of my 15 schools are ever going to notify me of anything. Ever. I guess Irvine is one more implicit rejection to add to my list?

Hmm I just saw that too. I wrote to Jennifer Day.

I broke down and e-mailed UCI, and got word that they just received their funding amounts, so it'll be a few weeks until notifications go out.

I e-mailed UCR and got this reply: Decisions will be sent to each of our 100+ applicants throughout the months of February and March, via email. I was really hoping for more info...
