  1. I'm in the exact same boat as you! I think UW is known for doing things in their own strange way.
  2. Not that I know of, but most programs will put accepted students in touch with current students to answer questions.
  3. http://www.shopittome.com On Shop it To Me, you give them your preferences and then they give you a big list of on-sale items. You can indicate price ranges as well.
  4. I am sorry about the rejection. Their procedure just seems so weird.
  5. I'm sorry I am just curious, are the rejection letters personalized? Is that why they seem to be coming one by one?
  6. Thanks for the advice, HHEoS. I appreciate it!
  7. Along with Florida, what is going on with Washington? It looks like a lot of acceptances have gone out, and rejections via e-mail have gone out. I've got nothing from them. Though I think they are known for being sort of disheveled.
  8. He was great in keeping contact with me, even before I was accepted!
  9. No one wants to see me in a kilt. Thanks for the advice... I never would have thought of AC.
  10. WHAT IS UP WITH FLORIDA?! Are they e-mailing one rejection at a time?!
  11. So for a guy: something like nice pants, and... a button down short sleeve? A short sleeve polo?
  12. What about in places that are super hot? I'm looking at you, Riverside.
  13. Aww, sorry to hear that. At least you have other great options. Is there anyone else at OSU you'd want to work with?
  14. I would too if you want. Feel free to PM me.
  15. You're from Boston and you love Wegmans. You've been accepted into my heart.
  16. I was converted to Wegmanism too. Anyone who lives near one is sooo lucky. You Western New Yorkers will love it. They are also spreading throughout the Northeast now.
  17. WEGMANS is amazing! I am so sad I'll be leaving it.
  18. I doubt it's a factor. Most schools have an application deadline, and then begin organizing files a few weeks later. I submitted Riverside, Santa Cruz, and Irvine all on the day they were due, or the day before they were due.
  19. Yes, I am 100% assuming rejection at Penn State, which is fine. I'm more just upset that they won't tell me so and are playing this game "we're making decisions until April 15th..."
  20. It just seems ridiculous on the part of Penn State. In other news, or lack thereof, I am wondering what is up with Florida. There are a few rejections via e-mail up on the board, and some acceptances. I've gotten nothing.
  21. I am wondering if anyone may have any advice: a POI at a school that has accepted me e-mailed suggesting we meet for coffee when I come to the visiting weekend. I haven't completely ruled this school out, but at this point I think it's very likely I'll be going there, and I wasn't planning on attending the visiting weekend. I wanted to visit some other higher preference programs before ruling this one out completely. Any advice on how I should reply to this POI?
  22. I e-mailed Penn State, just for closure. I was told "We are still in the process of reviewing applications and are (sic) final decisions will not be made until April 15, 2013." That reply pissed me off a bit... just tell me I am rejected. I think it's in poor form to make applicants wait until the April 15th deadline. Obviously, I am assuming I am rejected, but I think they would be doing us a better service to just tell us.
  23. Yes, it almost feels like the insanity is just beginning. So much traveling.
