  1. Has anyone heard about scholarships yet? I think this is about the time we should be getting notified.
  2. I also just came home to a 1/3 Dean's Tuition Scholarship! Luckily I just flew home to visit my family because it was sent to my permanent address.
  3. Thanks ay761, I just emailed Rosie to see if she had any scholarship info for me. And yes, it definitely varies by program. Higher Ed has assistantships available to apply for already because it's required to have one for the program I'm guessing. I interviewed for one but I definitely need to apply for more.
  4. I have narrowed my decision down to two schools- Michigan and Vanderbilt. My decision mostly depends on my fiance's law school acceptances. If I go Michigan I will be sure to return to this thread!
  5. Well still no news on scholarships here. And no news is definitely not good news when waiting for a scholarship. I guess I will wait a couple more weeks before contacting them.
  6. Well on the plus side, with less interviews you can prep more for each one! I imagine it's going to be tough doing 5 interviews and keeping everything straight, especially since I'll be waking up at about 3 a.m. to get ready for the drive up. eek.
  7. I will be there! I have 5 interviews scheduled and sent in 10 cover letters, if that gives you any idea. Time to start prepping I guess!
  8. I am a double-major in Anthropology and French with a business minor, but I completely agree with HIgherEd2013.
  9. Yeah I haven't heard of any of the Higher Ed people receiving aid yet on these forums. Keeping my fingers crossed!
  10. Haha, same here! Congrats! And I think the e-mail doesn't go out until the next morning for some reason.
  11. I was accepted Friday, but I don't think I'll be able to attend the visitation days and for the time being I have no plans to visit. However, I also love their program (I requested an info pack from them several months back) and the research aspect. I look forward to hearing how your visit goes, Loseric!
  12. I think the very end of December, but possibly very early January.
  13. The Penn one? If so, that was my friend/coworker!
  14. Well my fiance is an senior undergrad at Penn so I spend a lot of time there, and I can't think of any such building. It seems like they're constantly building new things, but nothing that fits that description comes to mind at the moment.
  15. Yeah, I submitted my app on 1/6 and I think I received the "complete" email 1/16 (the day after the deadline). I don't know if this is still true, but I was looking at previous years of their admissions blog and they mentioned they update the system at 2 p.m. daily. So now I only check around that time, lol.
  16. I also got accepted to Michigan today! Well, technically yesterday I suppose. Yayyyyy! & Congrats on both of those!
  17. Yes! Didn't spend much time there or see the entire campus, but what I saw was beautiful.
  18. Mine says the same thing. I honestly never paid attention before though.
  19. True, and I'm very grateful, but I am also just as eager to hear back from all the place's my fiance has applied to law school, because if we don't get into the same school we're kind of screwed.
  20. I am checking my mail every day when I get home, and I now hate junk mail more than ever because it gets my hopes up. Even though I know I'm accepted there's just something about getting an official letter that will make it even better!
  21. The more I look at and read about Vandy the more I fall in love. Keep your fingers crossed that my fiance gets into Vanderbilt Law!
  22. I know I am driving my roommates and my fiance crazy with all of my obsessing. It's so great to have an outlet here!
  23. I applied there as well! Haven't heard back yet, but I did receive the email saying they decide within 4 weeks, so that means I should have a decision by the 19th!
  24. Congrats! I was also accepted to the Higher Ed program! I won't be able to attend the visitation day though, due to expenses =( Also I'm waiting to hear back from the rest of my schools, but Vandy is definitely very appealing. I only applied to 4 schools though so they are all kind of tied for my top choice.
