I have totally accepted that UNC CH did not work out favorably for me. Now I'm focusing my attention on the other programs

I'm not sure about UNC CH, but I believe all admits we're notified via phone.

I'm also here! I'm hoping to hear something from University of South Florida next week. Historically, they notify first round admits around the first Wednesday/Thursday of March. They are program I am in LOVE with, so I'm hoping my application was strong enough. However, my birthday is on Thursday, so I'm hoping for positive news only!!!

I know she isn't on the forum, but one of my friends also applied to UNCG and it's her top choice

The depression part is the worst. I get on such a positive thinking streak, and then it's ruined three hours later. I'm hoping that we all hear something good over the next week.

I'm so annoyed with myself! I feel like my emotions are a repeating cycle of "I'm never going to get in anywhere!" to "Oh please, I'm so wonderful, I have to be accepted somewhere!". This up and down situation needs to end soon.

I still haven't heard a peep out of anyone. Not an acceptance, waitlist, OR rejection. As the days go on, I get more and more nervous that my plan of going to grad school is gone and I'm just not aware of it yet.

I haven't! I put USC on my list because they have a wonderful cochlear implant/AVT program, which is what I want to do. I chose most of my schools because they had a focus on that area/medical. I'm hoping that I'm accepted into at least one of them. I don't consider my GPA to be low, and I was very involved. Only time will tell

I didn't go to UNC, but I went to a very competitive undergrad program. We took classes that were very difficult, like anatomy (the same as for premed students) in addition to our speech anatomy! Plus I double majored, so it's not surprising to me that I don't have a 3.9. I have a 3.65 and the lowest grade on my transcript is a B. It's not over for me until I get that very last rejection!

I have a very positive feeling that things are going to work out in your favor this time around. Thinking of you.

My friend who is applying next year just asked me if I feel like I applied to schools in my range, of if I feel like I'm not going to be accepted anywhere. Cue the panic!
