Though now someone has been wait listed at Chapel Hill, so now I am very confused about my standing.

A girl in my program with outrageous stats was rejected from UNC CH last week. I guess no news is good news, since I still haven't heard. It also almost seems that they're doing acceptances/rejections by date of application. She applied in November and heard back, while I applied December 1 and have not.

Same.

It's only 3pm!

This is my EXACT situation right now... I have a chemistry exam tonight but I am just so anxious about hearing/not hearing back that I can't focus.

Decisions are slow today.

I check mine at least 10 times a day, so I sincerely hope not.

Did anyone receive confirmation from UVA that their app was complete? I know they have received all of my materials, but I never received any sort of communication from them.

I saw that in the results page, too. But to be honest, everyone who was a late-notify seemed to have much lower stats than you. I have a good feeling that you'll be in the clear Especially since on EdFind, it lists a wide range of GRE scores and average GPA of 3.55.

I'm not sure what %ile that is, but I can't imagine it's terribly low.

Why so anxious! I'm sure you are stellar applicant and will have no problem getting at an acceptance from at least one.

I've already chipped a tooth by grinding my teeth in my sleep. It's gonna be a bumpy few weeks.

This, and if this information gets back to the department (or anyone else, really) it can only look bad.

I feel that we will all be getting at least one bit of news this week, or at least the week after. When I looked at the results search, the only school I applied to who is notifying later than the 1st full week of March is USC (which I knew already, per the e-mail they sent out).

I subscribed to ASHA's, because it was something I trusted and it was easy (and interesting!) to read.

I feel like the decisions are going to start coming! March starts this week, so I'm getting a positive vibe.

I would honestly die of excitement. I'm trying not to get TOO excited over USC... yet . It's so hard, especially since I fell in love when I visited this summer.

I am under the impression USC hasn't even started reviewing yet. So I think you should be all good to go to have your app switched over!

Not yet, and it's not totally over until I see that rejection in my inbox. Until then, all hugs are welcome.
