No word at all! I know I haven't been accepted to UNC, but I'm waiting to see if I was wait listed or rejected. It's sad, but I still have wonderful options that I'm waiting on. I don't think UVA has reported to everyone yet, so I'm expecting they will start either tomorrow or next week. I know I will be hearing from Florida State on 3-11 and I'm hoping to hear from USF next week? Not sure how realistic that is though!

Don't lose hope!!! I'm on my phone so I can't see your stats, but I'm sure they are anything but mediocre. I'm thinking that UNC was hypercompetitive this season, so that probably isn't a reflection on you.

This is the first night I have without a ridiculous amount of schoolwork/studying. I spent the first part of the night watching mindless TV, talking on the phone with my mom, and reading a new book on my Nook. I strongly feel that you have nothing to worry about! You have so many great options lined up (hello, USC!) and were even asked to complete a supplemental app. We all have your back here. Keep smiling.

I think the majority of programs will give a wonderful, solid foundation for our clinical careers. Every school is different, but great in its own way.

Which school! I hope you love it. I have done all campus visits except two, and I am waiting to see if I am admitted before visiting.

I am assuming that everyone accepted received a phone call then. Sad, but I still have to hear from 4 more schools!

For every story like this though, I feel like there are additional circumstances. Low GRE, poor program fit, etc. I haven't heard that either school is impossible to get into, but they are looking at more competitive applicants. That, and they get a lot of applications per year.

Also, have you heard anything about the competitiveness of USF? I noticed you applied there as well.

When another applicant who was rejected assumes you were too, because they are just oh so much better than you. I still haven't heard back from that particular school, so hmph.

It didn't seem like too many people had heard back, and none of them were official acceptances. Don't lose hope yet!

Ask them what a typical week is like for them. Is there anything they know now that they wish they knew when they started? Is there anything about that specific program that they love/really don't care for?

It seems that those who posted acceptances from UVA were all out-of-field applicants.

I think about this all the time. I wonder if people actually do it.

Did you indicate interest in one of USC's specific tracks when you applied? I wasn't sure if it was common of most students to follow a track there.

I agree. There's no other explanation I can come up with. It clearly isn't date of app. If there is one, here's hoping we are both on it! I also have my Mom at my permanent address watching the mail like a hawk. I know USC said mid-March, but I am hoping it will be sooner.
