If you want to go to the one that is closer to you, than do that. Listen, it's your life, that extra semester is your choice to take (and might not really matter in the long run that you had to stay an extra semester longer). Go with whichever program is the best for your career choices.

No it isn't a combined MSW+Phd. I plan on pursuing a PhD after my MSW.

I need help! I am not sure if I want to get a PhD in clinical psychology or social work. I've currently been accepted into both programs. Both programs will take me 6 years to complete (2 years for masters, 4 years for doctorate). I am really interested in research, and would really like my education to position me to be a well versed researcher. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ahh, mine starts with a W too. Not sure if that is how they are doing it. I was thinking alphabetically too, but now I'm not sure. I haven't heard anything.

Hey hey! I just got an OGS award from Laurier. I applied for the 2 years MSW track. Not sure if this means I'm in, but it feels great to get an award (even if I don't use it).

I haven't heard a single thing... I thought waiting till April 15th was an adventure. At this point, this process is just becoming anti-climatic.
