I didn't get in last year because of my GPA and I was told I didn't have enough "international experience"

Have faith!! Yea, MSW programs are waaaaaaaaaaay more competitive now compared to how it used to be... I didn't get into SDSU last year because of my GPA and I was competing with people who had "international experience".

Yeah but my personal statement was not written very well, it was my fault. I could've done better... my references came from 3 people with MSW's.

Thanks! Yeah hopefully! I did have about 2 years of experience but my grades and personal statement were weak. I'm crossing my fingers for this year.

Yes, that was the most frustrating part. I did apply for the Title IV-E stipend and missed both interviews, but I was denied anyways. Hopefully the process will be different this year.

I applied to SJSU last year and was notified in May by e-mail and snail mail. it kinda sucked to be denied twice from the same school.

My interview isn't at Berkeley and I didn't receive an e-mail, just a phone call. I was told to study my child welfare information because it's similar to a CWW interview. Good luck!

OMG yes! I applied last year and I wasn't notified until May... TWICE. They e-mailed me a letter and also mailed me a different letter, sucks to be denied once but twice. It sucked. LOL
