It seems when I mention feelings around here, it gets blown up a bit out of proportion lol I am not taking this personally and am definitely open to criticism @rising_star. If not, I wouldn't be where I am in this field. Please don't take things out of context. I was implying that I was nervous to begin with and didn't know what was happening or if I should do more to get in touch with him. Either way, it worked out. He did end up getting in touch with me later and all is well.

Somewhere to vent or share about how you're feeling after an interview?

Same time zone. I looked over our email many times to make sure I got the time right. I am guessing some kind of emergency, mostly for their sake, coz it's with my top choice... So weird.. It's really unprofessional otherwise to not have regard for my time (and feelings/nerves)

... :/ Was supposed to be on Skype. I left an email 5 min after when we were supposed to meet saying I'm online and leaving my ID. 10 min later I called, it went straight to VM so I left a message. It's been almost an hour.. Any thoughts on what else I can/should do, if anything?

I got my invite for Skype interview from POI there just last night. Interview is for Monday. I am not sure that they will submit as early as next Tuesday but I could be wrong.

Hey! It was sent by the admin person. I am told that the POI will get in touch with me to work out the date for the interview. Someone got a similar invite a day or two ago so they may not be doing them all at once. So I wouldnt fully lose hope!

Also, think about what questions you want to ask them too. The interviews I've had so far have ended up where the prof is interested in telling me a lot about his lab and wondering what questions I had.

I feel you! I think because this is your third time, you probably have a good chance though! I think it takes time to figure out what works and build up your CV! So I hope you are atleast a tiny bit excited about your chances, within all the nerves

Yep I'm applying to clinical psych PhD programs this year *fingers crossed*

It's a new school so it has its ups and downs. The faculty is great because they are very experienced and talented therapists. I ended up wanting more research experience so it wasn't great for me but if you are clinically focussed, its a lot of hands on learning, lots of practicum hours, and a few good courses. It's mostly just what you make of it

I am not sure if it is actually (sorry, I should probably know). But I was able to get a practicum at a well known hospital and a good job now that I'm at the end of the program, so I guess the program has atleast somewhat of a good name. I dont want to give you the wrong info on accreditation! Definitely look into speaking with someone from the school about this, if possible for you though. They are very open and helpful.

Haha fair enough. I guess I just have to trust her, which I didn't for some reason.. Let's hope you are right and she gets it done!
