  1. don't Unfortunately, the cat consumed all glory of the moon and stars. It gave him severe anxiety, but also he received the power to fly. A joy. Suddenly...Bees! They flew around, jealous, plotting murder, arson, etc. They were searching for hundreds of floating wildebeest. These evil bees converged into a mega bee! Zooming fiercely throughout the glen until they could find unsuspecting marsupials, the bees settled on a caribou. Meanwhile, the cat soared through the aether, gathering bundles of tiny flowers for the wildebeests' protection. The flowers glowed bright as they bled starlight. This magic was transcendental and powerful. The cat rushed to smash the evil bees, but judiciously reconsidered, quoting the great Oprah: "dfindley, look into your mirror - metaphysics don't...
  2. If you have an Xbox, Get Mass Effect 1-3 and start from the beginning. Then get Dragon Age and play through those. Depending on how fast you play, you can then get Dragon Age: Inquisition when it comes out in the fall. I'm sorry... did I just start drooling on the forum? I do that about Dragon Age. For real though. PLAY SOME BIOWARE GAMES. and then Bioshock Infinite. Also the board game/iOS app Ticket to Ride is awesome.
  3. depends on what you mean by "pleasant." can be beautiful. can also be brutal. depends on what you're used to and what you're looking for and what part of the state you're in. southern Michigan (where A2 is) isn't usually as bad as the rumors make it sound, but can still be rough if you're from somewhere like California. It's not going to be that much worse than any other northern state though. That said, Northern Michigan is a TOTALLY different story.

  8. unofficial rejection from Columbia saying if you haven't heard you're not in. sorry to anyone else who's in the same boat.
  9. I go back and forth on Sims as a distraction. Sometimes I am fully immersed, sometimes I feel like I am just sitting there waiting for them to do stuff for fake that I could be doing for real. That said, TS3 has a "University Life" expansion and I am not ashamed to admit that I have been doing a little bit of vicarious living through my sims.
  10. and "what the frak" is a pithy three syllables WTF? in some other news a series of dumb events karmic deposit?
  11. what video games do you play? I recommend getting into one you've never played if you can afford it. I can rec some real story-heavy games if you haven't played them. Also, 3DS games are nice since you can take them with you. If you haven't played Link Between Worlds Yet, GET ON THAT SHIT. also, take up a new sport or hobby mebbe? Even if it's just watching a new sport, hockey usually has a game on at least 2-3 nights per week per team and it takes a minute to learn the rules and shit so you can listen to some podcasts, read some blogs, etc. etc. My brother just decided to start liking sports one day and then all of a sudden he was an expert, so if you have time and need a distraction... Also, I'm trying to learn lockpicking... I lost my book though.
