I would like to stay in the USA because I am eager to have a teaching experience in american schools. I know, it will be absolutely different from russian schools, so I really want to try. In Russia there are a lot of problems in modern schools... The situation in educational system here is really tough. I don't like what is happening with our school education at all. So, I don't want to return to it... But it is what I think right now. Who knows what I will be thinking after the degree.

I am trying to stay calm and not going to bother them by e-mails. At least, right now...

Had an interview yesterday. Already nervous.......

haha ) mine First of all, I need to say that I am from Russia. Went to my university to ask for transcripts. I wanted 20 copies. I applied to 14 schools but some of them wanted 2 copies. Besides, I wanted to have some extra copies just in case. 2 women in the office: Oh, 20??? You are applying to 20 schools??? hahaha, you don't think you will get in? it's just like please accept me somewhere, yeah? hahaha Needless to say, I was standing near them during this speech. Said nothing in response. Speaking with the dean also in my alma mater. - I am applying to the PhD programs in the USA. - What??? Are you going to sell your homeland??? Oh.my.God.

I applied to their Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. This program have deadline on the 11th of March. So, it's probably too early to make any conclusions.

I have the opposite situation. I have good teaching experience, publications (but not in american journals). However, my educational background is in engineering and economics. And my GRE... I don't even want to talk about it Only my Q is ok. Worried.
