  2. Oh, god, thanks for telling us that you got in via snail mail! I saw others posting that they'd received phone calls and e-mails and I was feeling so, so sad about it! SAIC might be a dealbreaker for me with my other schools. It's the only school I've applied to twice. Man... waiting for snail mail to get over here, though. I might be waiting for a long, long time to hear anything. I was still getting Christmas cards well into February! :-/
  3. I don't know if anyone else here applied to Parsons or not, but I went onto their http://my.newschool.edu portal and found out that I've been accepted! If there are any more of you out there who applied, good luck! I don't know where I'll be going now. I'm feeling very conflicted. I'll just wait for financial aid packages to come out........
  4. CCA results online! I got in without an interview!! Granted it probably means that there is little to no financial aid, but I'm in to both programs and can do my dual degree!!! Waiting to hear back from SAIC (it's my second choice AND they would have MUCH better funding), but I'm SO STOKED that even if I'm completely BROKE at the end of 3 years it will be okay!
  5. E-mailed schools, as per anonymous user's suggestion. Within five minutes I have found out the following: my snail mail rejection letter from RISD was just sent this morning, and Pratt won't start making any decisions for about another two weeks. I'll still take knowing over not knowing, even if knowing means a rejection!
  6. Well, sure. I mean, you just had all of your wisdom taken out! They figure that you really need that PhD to get that wisdom back into your head somehow!! Congratulations on all the acceptances!
  7. Rejection from MIT: "Not really a remote research fit. Guess they saw through my SOP like grandma's underpants."
