Congratulations!! That's a fantastic program! You should be SO proud of yourself. None of these programs are easy to get into. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. It really does mean a lot. I will defintely keep posting. Break 'em!

Hey Ohio... congrats on the waitlist. Better than I got from USC. Waiting not-too-hopefully for UCLA. Seems offers already went out. The wait is slowly eating away at my mind, body, soul, sanity, waistline, sobriety.... you know, the usual.

If I were in your position, I would probably contact admissions and let them know you have an offer that you have to respond to by the 10th. That's what, Monday? Make sure you leave them enough time to respond, ya know? I wouldn't want to accept an offer without knowing for sure if I had a chance or not at my program of choice.

Nothing yet.... crickets. I got an email maybe a week ago from UCLA letting me know applications were under review and if they need anything they'll be in contact, but that's all. Haha, I thought I'd ask thinking it was last year you applied. That's awesome that you're giving it another shot. This industry definitely rewards tenacity. I've already made the decision to deal with a lifetime debt of loans to be repaid if I get accepted. It's just one of those things, ya know?

I wish I could quilt. Do you it make it by hand?

Let it go. Really, I mean what would you gain by confronting them besides further ostracization? I'm all about standing up for yourself and speaking your mind when you've been wronged, but it sounds like you would be beating a dead horse. Aside from asking the professor to remove your name, I'm not sure what action you could take that would be productive. They know what they did. Just don't work with them anymore, or if you have to, put everything on the table before the project is put in motion.

"I feel as if I am living the highest quality of life that I can when I am engaging knowledge" Sounds like you have your answer right there... I want to go school for acting. Have you any idea how many people (fellow actors) think that's an absurd, nonsensical concept? I don't want to get my MFA in acting so I can make more money or get more work. Maybe I will end up wokring in Starbucks, but I want to go back to school because there have been two places in my life where I have felt comfortable, in my element, at home... 1) in a place of performance, whether it be on stage, in front of a camera, etc., and 2) in a classroom. Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. From what you have told us, you are a brilliant mind who thrives in a place of learning; why go against your nature? Go back to school... Furthermore, we need you. Keep going.
