  1. I don't think this is that abnormal, you clearly know that taking any action on this is not an option so I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. We are only human after all, except those people that claim to never be attracted to anyone but their SO, they must be cyborgs.
  2. Anything and everything from the freezer section of Trader Joe's!
  3. I've never gotten a tattoo, but I was thinking of getting something to commemorate my undergrad research.
  4. Covered California!!!!! Why must I use this horrible website that never works and locks me out for weeks at a time just to enter a simple application?!?!
  5. Teleology. In evolutionary biology we try to avoid teleological thinking, which means thinking that organisms evolve towards some "perfect" goal.
  6. Wheat grass, I think it's delicious! And rainy, cloudy days, so beautiful.
  7. Yesterday a friend of a relative said "It's amazing that with all of the things you could choose to do with your major, you would pick THAT!" (After I described my research goals). Thanks....that's not insulting at all!
  8. If I don't get in, I will finally move out of my hometown. I've been dying to get out of here for the past ten years, but never had the guts to go through with it. There's nothing here for me, and I desperately need a change.
  9. My list: - Rap music - Seasonal food crazes, like pumkin spice everything, shamrock shakes, etc. - Trendy food crazes (i.e. raw veganism, juice cleanses, gluten free diets, anything that involves kale, etc. Granted if you're making a dietary decision for specific health/cultural reasons, you've consulted your doctor, done your research etc. then fine. But if you're doing it just because it's trendy, then no...) - Smart phone apps like snapchat, tinder, etc. - Selfies - Disney movies
  10. The Mesozoic Era, I love dinosaurs!
  11. What's worse is when I have a new email notification, get all excited that it might be my admission notification, and it turns out to be from some store trying to sell me crap!
