I can't believe spring semester starts on Tuesday. Break was not nearly long enough. Not even close.

First semester complete. Great time being a TA and learning so much.

Almost can't wait for the new semester to start. I just want to be busy again.

As of today, I officially have an MA.

My entire life is falling apart and grad school seems to be the easiest of my problems. Oh irony of ironies.

After submitting all of my applications, I unexpectedly came across a program that sounds totally in-line with my research and two POIs who seem perfect for my academic goals. After lengthy and positive correspondences with them, I am applying for one more program and hoping beyond all hope to get in!

I have been obsessively checking my e-mail since finishing my applications, despite being fully aware that I won't hear from schools until at least January. I've developed neurosis....
