Rejected everywhere. Now what? Been accepted to two conferences and was interviewed by an international newspaper about my work, but I can't get into a PhD program? This is confusing and embarrassing. I don't know if I will reapply next year, I think it is time to change careers..

I got only rejections two years ago, but I improved my applications and got into multiple places last year with funding. So like the people above, I say that it's possible to have success if you try again. It definitely hurts at first, but if you really want to go to grad school, improve your apps, choose schools that are good fits for you and try again.

After I submitted payment for my Rackham application, the application went blank the next time I logged in, and I never got an email confirming payment!
