Did you guys hear from any master programs in February or January ? It could be a department or school thing I know two people who already heard back from their masters programs.

Only time my school is closed is on MLK Jr day..........

My advisor said the same thing too. He said that it's still decently early and he's the head of the grad admissions committee over here

When you say websites you mean the application status page ? We both applied to UT Austin but it might be different depending on the department

Why are you presuming that you got rejected just because you didn't hear anything ?

I applied to 8 schools and haven't heard anything. I can't wait anymore ! March is a couple of weeks away it's killing me

He emailed me back saying that he has no funding for a new student and that the chances of new funding being available are very slim. I'm guessing that this will be a sure rejection unless a miracle happens...........

I emailed my POI yesterday asking what he thinks the email meant. If I was wait listed maybe he can push it into an acceptance.
