They made a few offers but have a couple with no decisions. Seriously I hate this no decision BS I rather they just reject me and get it over with lol

I asked my advisor about internships and he pretty much said the same thing. I just want to do something this summer that's related to my field. I don't think that smaller oil companies will pay for your apartment etc that larger ones will so I don't think I can do that unless someone knows of a company that does

UMass and UT made some offers this week did anyone get one ?

Can anyone here give me any ideas for internships that might still be available this summer whether it be for an oil company or the geology in general? I want to do something this summer before grad school

That's why my dad wants me to be a cop because of the job stability. They rarely layoff city workers here

I figured I spoke to people from BP, Shell and Schlumberger it appears, with the exception of shell since they told me to apply, that all internships have been filled

About this I applied to Shell's grad school internship but haven't heard anything. Are there any other companies offering internships to new graduates ? I hate that since I was a pre med for the majority of my undergrad I never looked into internships until relatively recently :/

First cut meaning GPA and GRE didn't filter me out. I haven't heard anything since then though

Oh yea I have no problem with that I just hope they reward me something. He said my scores/LOR don't pose any danger but my chances are about 50/50. I will pray to the geoscience God
