My partner and I adopted a dog when I started my MFA. She'll be going with us when we start my PHD this fall too.

I wish my post can be positive. If people were being called for an in-person interview, I'd say chances are good that there is still hope. However, since the person was invited via e-mail, there's a high chance that those lists were created using Excel or Access so multiple people were e-mailed at similar times. I don't think universities personalize anything unless it's an acceptance or a personalized rejection commenting on a specific aspect of your application.

When I saw an email about an application decision, I was bracing myself for a rejection from Chicago or Berkeley (per the projected schedule) and was totally shocked by my Austin acceptance! 

Also just got a UT Austin acceptance! (Same deal, email with PDF attached.) First acceptance after a few rejections -- feels good! Congrats to @unicornsarereal -- perhaps I'll see you around!!

Just accepted to SUNY Buffalo  No word on funding but still feels great to have an acceptance under my belt. To those with experience, does it typically take a while between the general grad school acceptance and the departmental notification, and then funding? I'm trying not to drive myself nuts hoping for funding!

Accepted to Texas A&M and nominated for a university fellowship. 

Accepted to SUNY-Buffalo. Got an email from the grad school - department email forthcoming. 

Congrats! Emory tends to decide who gets waitlisted and who gets accepted from their invited list.
