I legit want to stop thinking about everything application-related till mid-March. Done the waiting game before, was disappointed in the end, and now here we are.

Mine starts with T, so okay, not panicking lol I have zero proof they even go by last name, so this might just be the weirdest thing I've asked someone on this forum.

omg I uploaded everything at the last minute to NPSIA right before deadline, and it still says "preliminary review required" what letter does your last name begin with? lol

Last year, Munk people got some decisions starting in April. A friend on the waitlist got a final decision by end of summer. That's just a sampling and in no way an official timeline! EDIT a few mins later: I checked the results page on this forum. Seems like 2015 and 2016 decisions came out March onwards.

Thanks for the heads up! I will do it this week. Even if I get admitted there, I don't think I can realistically go. The cost of living there is high plus I am currently in the process of securing my immigration within Canada, and don't want to leave it suddenly just to start all over in two years (even for Geneva, sigh).

My docs for UoOttawa arrived Feb 1. I doubt they'll get to me yet. My online checklist is not ticked off at all! I have paid the fee for Graduate Institute but have not uploaded any docs or sent referee emails yet. Has anyone applied to Dalhousie?

My Munk application still says Documents Received. I uploaded the last document on the last day, so I don't doubt that they'll get to it a bit later.

I made a mistake too. Tiny one. I wrote iMigration, instead of Migration. I thought I fixed it and uploaded the correct pdf, but turns out, it didn't happen. oh well.

Got the user ID today! I logged in, nothing has been marked as received. But I know for sure the FedEx package got there before deadline, so just a matter of waiting. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the reply. Did this take long? Because I submitted the OUAC app and paid the fee on Monday. Should I expect an email form UOttawa soonish? EDIT a few mins later: I just noticed on their website >>> 'We acknowledge receipt of all applications by email within two weeks.Save this message, because it contains your student number, uoAccess ID and password to access the uoZone student portal and track the progress of your application'. So it hasn't been two weeks for me yet, I won't panic lol

Hey, how are you guys checking the status of your application? I haven't received any email about a UofOttawa online portal - just OUAC confirmation of my application submission.

I only applied to one school last year, and got rejected. It was my fault for hanging my hat on one school alone. So this year it's a number of programs, but obviously that one rejection - and the prospect of waiting another year for Applications Round Three, especially since I just recently lost my job - is making me doubt everything I've written and submitted. Best of luck to you, know that you are not alone in these feelings!

I ordered the transcripts last week to be sent directly but I freaked out and added my own sealed envelope of transcripts from my university too. Oh well, they can shred the extra transcript. Thanks for the response! I'm so crippled with self-doubt about all my applications, and worrying about the logistics of each application is too much.

I mailed my documents to UofOttawa because I never got any email about uploading them, just "mailing procedures" mentioned at the end of the OUAC application. Anyone else done that?

I'm in the same position. I am still applying, and am going to fully state that I'm going to pick up a course - what's the worst that can happen, right? I'll regret not applying and trying.

Yup! Right now I'm sitting on one draft for the personal Munk statement, and one draft for the global affairs Q for Munk. Both are too long. I am going to start cutting now and then see how it goes.

I've informally read that the average is between 5 and 7 programs.
