  1. Were results posted at 5 pm EST last year or earlier (or god forbid later)?
  2. Wow, thanks a ton for the update!
  3. I've been going through the HGSE threads of past cohorts and have noticed that kind-hearted folks with insider knowledge have informed those of us on tenterhooks when to expect a decision for the Ed.M. programs. Any such savior lurking in these parts this time round?
  4. The website does say that, but if you go through the HGSE threads for previous cohorts, Ed.M. candidates are usually notified within the first 10 days of March.
  5. I remember someone saying a little while back in this thread that the School Leadership Masters is in all likelihood the most competitive program at HGSE to get into. Can any current student or alum shed light on the perceived competitiveness of the Mind, Brain and Education program? I think i'd be a good fit, but kinda down right now as I just re-read my personal statement and realized that a lot of sections could've been revised to reflect my experiences and interest specifically about children's cognition, and not just effective learning environments that I talked about a lot (which sounds too generic now).
  6. It makes sense that people are choosing to go back to school, but why have the elections slowed down sorting through applications? I mean, i'm sure a lot of people would've been in a state of shock after the elections, but is that bad that their productivity has actually been affected for multiple weeks?
  7. That is useful info, thanks! One can assume they take 2-3 months in replying, so i'll probably be hearing back around the same time as the other programs.
  8. Does anyone know the timelines of notification for any of the rolling M.S.Ed. programs? I applied to the teaching, learning and leadership program in December, and the receipt of all my application materials was confirmed by 1st Jan. Not sure if I'll hear back in March like most other programs or earlier because Penn has a rolling admissions policy...
