I agree. One of my programs has Jan 2 deadline. It's quite nerve wrecking to know that I no one would answer my emails before the deadline. Even one of my recommenders is obviously taking a break and has not responded to my emails since before the break, too. Out of all application, the only one she has not submitted has to be the one with Jan 2 deadline.

Someone is reading my application right now

My programs deadlines varies from Dec 1 to Jan 15 but I have submitted all of the applications just to put my mind at ease. My mind is not exactly at ease after submitting them all, though haha . But yeas as far as I know, unless the program has a rolling admission, finishing the application early or close to deadline doesn't really make much of difference. -

@GeorgeC07 Last week the realization of the incoming holiday season dawned on me and I promptly send out emails to my programs regarding anything I might need help with including reference letters reminders to a professor who haven't send his out yet to two programs (they have a later deadline on early January). -
I am also International applicant and haven't received any invites, rejects, or any other kinds of decision. I think it's mainly just my programs haven't started sending them out yet, international or otherwise. However, looking at the result search page, I think for some school, they do send out invites for domestic first ( and internationals who are currently in the US). That might have something to do with attendance on the interview weekends, since they need to organize the interview weekend soon and most internationals who are not in the country would be asked for Skype interview instead. That is just my own interpretation of the situation, though.

Same here! I am applying to 9 schools and have heard nothing yet. I know some of my programs just haven't send out any invites yet, but still.. Fortunately I am currently working as an RA and that keeps me busy during the day. The worries and anxiety catches up during he nights, the weekends, and the holidays though

"Don't worry you'll be fine" or "Don't worry you'll get it" is currently second in my list of things I don't want to hear at all from anyone right now. It comes right after "So, which school again are you going to grad school next year?" Being international applicant the frustration is real and making me crazy. People keep telling me they don't understand why am I applying to so many different schools. My anxiety is up to the roof and it does not help at all when people try to dismiss or invalidate my worries just because they don't understand my position.
