  1. Thanks for your advice, I will look into more opportunities for pre- and post-doc internships relevant to neuropsy. Thanks!
  2. I am just wondering... how likely is a doctorate in school psychology paves the first step to becoming neuropsychologist? As far as I know, one has to have relevant neuropsy pre-doc and post-doc experiences, before you can take the board exam for certification. However, multiple broad certification websites and prospectus from psychology graduate schools enlist that the candidates must obtain PhD in clinical or counselling psychology... does that mean it is almost no hope for school psychologist? Besides, there is one association who calls School Neuropsychology, which apparently recognized by APA for Continuing Education credits (https://www.schoolneuropsych.com/index.php?id=1). However, they note that there is no licensing body for accreditation as School Neuropsychologist. Lastly, how likely is it for a School Psychology PhD candidate to obtain pediatric neuropsychology pre- and/or post-doc internships (if they prefer clinical psy. candidates, or is that true?)? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!
  3. I think they have an in-person interview last Wednesday? ps. I am an international student
  4. Rejection here too! All the best to those accepted and the best luck to those who are on wait-listed! I just feel that the grad school application itself is an enduring and strenuous journey, of which the successful admission to the program depends on a basket of factors including professor and research interest, and school factors. It is so difficult that's why it is also very sought after, as it changes the career prospect of our lives. It can be bumpy and heartbreaking when we realize all the efforts go in vain for the coming academic year, and it's haunting when you think about how much materials to prepare all over again for the next one. This is no easy task, but we aren't battling alone! I somehow feel that getting rejected is better than rejecting others, because it means you stand a chance next year and will not leave hard feelings on the admission committees should you return to that school! Getting a rejection can be due to competition against better candidates, unmatched research interest, or the professors have already been selecting students before we know it! It may not be personal, and we always have a second chance if we are determined this is the path to go! Having an answer is better than having dead silence
  5. I know... I have received an interview from TC for next weds, but I am not in the states. I have asked them for arrangement, then it's dead silence
  6. Anyone got an interview to Teachers College, Columbia for School Psy. next week?
  7. Thanks for the info! So if I still haven't received a letter from OISE for SCCP, does it mean that I am currently on the wait list automatically? Or there is elsewhere that I can get an update of status from?
  8. ROSI is the student website for U of T that enables students to check financial status, order transcripts and enroll courses etc. Those posters probably were or are students at U of T that they can log in with their lifelong student ID.
  9. Fingerscrossed! Hope there is no heart attack when we receive the letters! Best of luck to us!
  10. It's March and the wait to receive the letter (admission/waitlisted/refusal) from OISE via post is painful... Sigh... what are the chances of having an notification that is not refusal when you haven't heard from the POI at all? ? PS it's SCCP at OISE
  11. Agree! Thanks for the heads up, it's somehow comforting although I did not heard anything anyways!
  12. to the posters of SCCP at OISE getting waitlisted, do you have interview with your POI? Does it show on portal or you are notified via email? If I don't receive any news (no interview or contact from POI), does that mean i should give up?
