    I'm applying directly to SSHRC this year (currently applying for PhD in architecture programs) and am very confused about the Committee selection...in other parts of the application it seems as though they classify architecture as a fine art, however I'm just not sure about selecting Fine Arts/Literature as my committee, especially since it's a project about the history of governments, housing, etc... any advice? It seems like a huge decision and they don't give much to go on!     Got acceptance from McGill this morning Probably gonna go there instead of U of T (they want 3.5 years)

    GPA was like 3.8 or something...it was pretty good, but I have to admit the portfolio was on the weaker side (in my opinion) Deadline is April 15. Hoping McGill gets back to me before that. Both seem like pretty good schools...

    Canadian, via email (the website still says my application is Under Review) for the 3.5 year. I have an undergraduate arch degree from Canada as well as a few years firm experience but they offered the 3.5 instead of the 2.5 which feels a bit odd.

    Nope not Carleton either, only UManitoba, Mcgill and U of T. Accepted at Manitoba but I'll choose U of T if those are my options. Even though they didn't accept me to their regular program. I applied for 2.5years and they offered the 3.5 which is a looong program.

    Oh jeez if they've sent out rejection letters already then I have no idea what to think

    Oddly enough I received an acceptance at 1:00am saturday night so you never know... I guess if it's an automatic system it can do weird things

    Still waiting on McGill too. Driving me nuts. Received acceptance from U of T on March 20th and will have to make that decision soon...
