Same here, I’ve been using first names in all my communication because that’s what my profs preferred in undergrad. It wasn’t until I saw the debate on this thread that I realized it’s not the norm ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

Hopefully?? I don't even know when it is... I just received a standard "Congratulations, you're admitted!" e-mail from the graduate school and have a positive decision in my student portal, so I'm waiting (patiently, so patiently) for someone in the English program to confirm funding / visiting / that this isn't some sort of joke :-) I'm worried I might have to keep waiting it out for a bit with the long weekend.

I’m going stir crazy watching the results come in for programs I didn’t apply to, and a good half of my schools won’t notify for a few weeks yet Really starting to think that February is in fact the cruelest month...
