What led me to Audiology, was when I became hearing impaired myself as a child! I always loved watching my own audiologist do her job and she inspired me to want to be an audiologist! I also wanted to be an audiologist because of my grandma she complains about her hearing even when she has her hearing aids in and I eventually want to work with a team to create more solutions to help with nerve damage! I did consider speech pathology as a career but I had more experience with Audiology!

@Ganthig hey we have almost the same schools that we are applying to!! I hope we are classmates possibly!!

@AudieB it was interesting but the tour wasn’t that interesting! I didn’t really get to see the audiology part of the speech and hearing clinic at UC but overall I liked it! Well maybe we will end up their together! We will see!! I am from Cincinnati anyway!!

I constantly check my email multiple times and when I get an email from an School I get excited but then it’s not what I think it is.

I think we should all add each other Facebook and start a group chat on there so we can vent to each other about Audiology grad school!!

@AB121212 thanks! I have applied to UC as well! I went to one of their information sessions not too long ago. Congrats on getting accepted to OSU!! I haven’t heard back from anyone but I have an grad school interview with Nova Southeastern University!!

I am in the same boat, i have a low gre score and gpa as well. I didnt even retake the gre because I felt it wasn't going to help me in the long run. I have applied to seven schools which i am very nervous to hear from. I applied to UC, OU, UNC-Chapel Hill, ECU, USF, University of Florida, and Nova Southeastern University.

I have very low gre scores. I am just praying that I get accepted to at least one program or two.
