I officially withdrew from CSULB today in order to pursue my degree at SJSU! I hope this opens up a spot for someone!

Does anyone know how internships work with SJ? As in, do we pick or are they given to us?

I am still debating between SJSU and CSULB for the fall, but am heavily leaning towards SJ because I already live in the bay! I am deciding in the next day or two, so a spot may open soon

I applied for the 2-year onsite program, so I’m guessing that’s the program I got accepted to. The portal and letter didn’t specify though.

Yesterday I checked my portal and it said “Accepted - Classified Graduate”!!!!! I applied about a week before the application was due for the 2-year program. I’m so excited! Now just need to decide between CSULB and SJSU.

It now just says "referred to grad department" I hope we all hear soon!

I heard the other day from a social worker in the Bay Area that SFSU’s MSW program almost lost their accreditation not too long ago. It was news she heard through the grapevine, so unsure how true it is, but has anyone else heard of this?

I jumped too soon on my comment, because I actually received an acceptance email later that day!!! I also don’t know too much about CSULB. I mainly applied because they offered the PPSC. Does anyone have a lot of knowledge about the program they don’t mind sharing?

SFSU is my top choice! I also applied to CSULB and SJSU. I’d be content at any of those schools though

Hi! I was hoping to find a thread on SJSU! I applied end of January with the children, youth, and families concentration. I’ve been noticed that my app is in “final review”, but nothing more than that.
