  1. what school? There could be a couple reasons. the first (and more optimistic one) is that they haven't made decisions yet. Many schools take 2-4 weeks to send them out. Hopefully this is the case for you, but each school is different. Another reason could be that they have offered initial acceptances and you are on the waitlist (some schools don't tell you if you're on the wait-list). If someone declines their position they will offer it to the next person in line and so on till some one accepts. Im in the same boat as you and while i'm trying to remain hopefull, I'm pretty sure i'm in the second group. If i don't hear back from anywhere by the end of spring break im going to apply to a couple masters programs with late deadlines that have faculty with similar research interest(as a backup) and hope i get a notification from the schools im waitlisted at before April 15th
  2. I applied to another area of psych for OU, but i emailed my POI about a week ago and he told me that the department had sent out acceptances and that I was on the wait list so that may be the case with you as well if you have not received an official rejection or acceptance yet.
  3. Kent state had interview weekends on the 2/3rd and 9/10th. Sorry if this is bad news for you.
  4. As acceptances are coming in, try not to hold onto more than one acceptance at a time. If you are accepted to two places and you know you will go to one over the other if it comes down to it; decline the one you know you won’t go to. That way individuals on the waitlist can potentially get a spot (because for them that may be the only school they haven’t been rejected from or is their ‘last hope). I understand if maybe you haven’t visited campuses for some and want to wait to see how the fit feels during visiting day or for funding details ( I would too); but just keep it in mind if you have two or more acceptances.
