My stats are similar to yours! 3.67 gpa in psych, two years as an americorp volunteer. I was a counselor at a group home and then a preschool teacher at a domestic violence shelter. I am still teaching preschool currently. I applied for SEA with a focus on kids and families ???? Congrats on you acceptance!

hey guys! i applied by the priority deadline and was accepted on 1/29. i'm waiting for more information on my financial aid package, has anyone received anything like that?

lanabeni thank you for pulling me out of my despair lol. no but seriously, waiting for grad apps can be so nerve racking i'm glad some people are able to be level-headed!!! and congrats @Sgr i'm sure you applied to the correct program! it's annoying how you can't really check on that tho.

I turned in my application on 12/1 but I only received the “application complete” email on January 5th ? (even tho all my stuff was submitted on or before 12/1) thinking I’ll have to wait longer than I thought for this one

I searched “Columbia social work” on twitter and Facebook and saw two advanced standing acceptances

Searching (stalking, lol) social media and it seems like a lot of advanced standing applicants were notified yesterday, did anyone get a decision who applied to residential 2 year program? Crossing my fingers for everyone and congrats to those who have been accepted!

Did you apply by the priority deadline? They send me some scholarship opportunities via email, one was the Kline fellowship and one was called the honjo scholarship

I was notified via email this morning that i accepted to Washington University in St. Louis, with a $20,000 scholarship. I am so new to financial aid, i need to education myself, but i'm pleased i received any money at all!
