I received a notice from Emory university CSI department to indicate their admission procedure for 2019 Fall PhD program. They said they will start interviewing selected applicants on Feb 5th. But I haven't received any interview request from Emory and now it's Feb 1st. Does it mean that I probably don't have chance to be admitted? Hope someone who also applied their CSI PhD program could tell me if you have received their interview request? Thanks~~~

I'm a georgia state university student and already got a MS in computer science. I want to apply 2019 Fall CS phd program. My undergraduate GPA is 3.7/4, and my graduate GPA is 3.63/4. GRE is V152, Q168, AW 3. No publications, no job experience, but I have two years related graduate research assistant experience and graduate TA experience. So what ranking range of CS phd program I could apply? Top 50 to top 90?

Did anyone get the interview notice from Emory CSI PhD committee? And when did you submit your application materials?

Let me tell you some news: I just contacted with Emory CSI graduate committee and they told me they will send all final interview notice by Feb 15th. :|

And when you submitted your application for Emory? Because I'm thinking if the late submission will influence the interview.....

Those professors are your interested professors or just the members of committee?

Congrats!!! Did your friend in Emory CSI know how many applicants in this year? Last year there are about 100 applicants and the department provides 30 offers.
