  1. Correct me if I am wrong but there are three phases of rejection letters right? The first one already past and second one is on march 15th or so and the last one is around April but this is only if there there are still companies looking for GEM Fellows?
  2. @thejellybean It was in the first email stating that you made it to the next round.
  3. @thejellybean Welcome to the Forum! Congratulations on the interview I hope that it goes well and you get an offer. Also congratulations on getting accepting to a school! If you do get the company sponsorship you will become a GEM Fellow!!! That is awesome! I assume the company will email you first then change it on egem lol
  4. @Dwar I think you should apply for jobs/internships. If possible you could apply for internships now for the summer or if your up to it now. This way if you do not get into a program at least you have a summer internship and most will lead to a job. If you do get into a graduate program you can still do the internship and go to graduate school. Do not feel bad to burn bridges, it is your future you should not feel bad. If you have interviews and then leave the job in a couple of months this is normal and fine.
  5. @virusologii Yes just like @Hk328 email whoever you interviewed with. You can also send additional questions you have about the program if you did not get a chance to ask them in the interview. GOOD LUCK!
  6. @K Alex Ah okay sweet. Did you have to them accept through GEM and also through the university?
  7. Anybody that has an offer from a school. Did you hear about it through egem or did the college send you an acceptance letter?
  8. @cf6049 Yeah I feel that. I just wish that we knew the outcome so we would be less stressed lol but we have to be patient lol
  9. @cf6049 Me too. I am mostly looking to see if the schools have updated that I applied or maybe they updated that I was accepted lol
  10. How often does everyone check egem?
  11. @Moods That is how I am feeling right now!!!!
  12. @cf6049 Yeah that happened to me last year. I even sent out reminders and he never replied it is kind of disappointing when that happens. I wonder if GEM could help if he did not get accepted but have a company sponsor I wonder if they have some pull at some University
  13. Also I know its early but I am getting a little nervous about getting accepted to a graduate program.
  14. @Moods I bet they will contact you soon to fill out paper work and what not. I hope the seminar soon!
  15. @cf6049 I do not think this will affect GEM due to the departments that are feeling the shutdown are: Housing Agriculture National Park Services Most of the companies that are government affiliated are DOE which should have funding. So this should not impact the GEM Fellowship and getting sponsored by a government affiliated institution.
  16. GEM has not rescheduled the webinar yet correct?
  17. @Moods Yeah they did. They contacted before and after. Has your company not contacted you at all?
  18. @Moods I accepted the company and I checked the egem portal and they just had me re-accept the company.
  19. Anybody else had to resign a new acceptance online form for the company sponsor?
  20. I also love reading space operas! I love playing board games and spending time with friends, I also brew beer
