    Hey! I was accepted off the wait list at U of A on the April 24th at 6 pm. I'm pretty sure I was one of the first calls. I don't know if that helps you gauge how long they've been making calls for. I'm sorry you're having to go through this dreadful wait. I applied last year and got rejected, so definitely keep on working for it! All the best.

    I got a call from Vicki a few hours ago to be offered a spot at U of A! I thought they wouldn’t be contacting waitlist before April 30th but I guess that’s not the case!!! goodluck to everyone still waiting

    Apparently today is the the last day for Western students to accept or decline their offers. So I believe people should start hearing back by tomorrow or next week. me too! This wait is daunting

    What worked for me to get onto a couple of wait lists (Western and U of A) for this year since last year was working on increasing my GPA, and also my volunteer hours in an SLP related field. I didn't apply to UBC though, so I can't speak for that . goodluck!

    I read earlier in the post that it took a while before everyone heard back, but yes it is entirely possible to hear back today- hopefully. this waiting game is not fun at all. Goodluck!

    I don't think so. If I understood correctly, the email stated we are already on the wait list. and if a spot becomes available for you they'll call you to see if you want to take it.
