  1. Thank you! It's great to know these possibilities. Good luck on your interview! Interview seems to be a process of matching ( both to the student and to the school) so I'm sure you'll go somewhere you really like.
  2. Thank you so much! It's good news indeed! It is such a relief. Many thanks! Best of luck on your application process!
  3. That's a good suggestion! But I'm not sure whether there are some differences between the requirements of certification in different states ( I guess there are) which may make moving process difficult. Wow that sounds great! Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm from China and Mandarin is my mother tongue, is this kind of bilingual? I know some programs with bilingual orientation in Spanish. Chinese seems not to be a widely used language in US. Anyway, it is very nice of you to come up with all these ideas. Thank you!
  4. Thanks! Lehigh university. I checked the NASP website and found that in Pennsylvania certification is only given to US citizens.
  5. Just got my first acceptance! So excited! It is a really nice faculty and I enjoyed the whole process of interview. The only thing that I am concerned is that it seems that as an international student I am not eligible to get a license after I graduate in that state. If it is true, I feel so sad.
  6. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Sounds like a very busy day!
  7. I just received an email from the first school I applied and it said I was put into waitlist. I am surprised because I didn't even get an interview invitation. I was thinking that not getting into the interview means unofficially rejection. So there is still hope, right? That is a really great program and also has high requirements. Finger crossed. In the meantime worrying about my two incoming interviews (probably the only two). The whole application process is intimidating!
  8. Wow that is comforting. Great! Best of luck on your interview.
  9. Thank you so much! It's very nice of you! Yes I asked her and she gave me some really helpful suggestions. Finally settle all the traveling stuffs.
  10. I applied to UW for EdS and haven't heard back. UW is my top choice so I really hope to get the chance to attend the interview. I just found the 2018-2019 handbook and it says interview day will be February 8 and interview invitation are offered by the second week of January. I guess it is not a good news. Anyway, we could still wait for other schools.
  11. My interview buddy said the same thing, and she also mentioned that each interview would last about 15 to 30 minutes.
  12. Thank you so much for sharing this! I was assigned a interview buddy as well and just sent her an email to ask about the process of individual interview. I guess the answer would be the same. At the bottom of the interview agenda, there are current students' names which are in pairs. I think it would be the same as what will go for the interview day.
  13. Congrats! I applied to UF and OSU as well, though both of them are EdS programs. Leighannimal and I will attend February 1st interview of UF. I also received that email yesterday and found all the interviewees' email addresses, which I haven't thought about. Looking at the names, there will be 17 students on February 1st. Since Leighannimal is applying for PhD and I am applying for EdS, all the applicants must be together. Best of luck!
  14. So many things to prepare! Yes the impression is important by what you look like. Pulling it back would be great or is there any way you could both keep your current color and look professional? Like dye only the surface hair back to a natural color but keep others? I am checking flights and accommodations, and it seems that I have to fly from New York City to Orlando first, then take a bus to UF. Still trying to figure out all these traveling stuffs.
