Were the e-mail notifications for UVA acceptances form e-mails or personalized?

Same, just received my rejection e-mail. Sad but feel relieved that they don't drag things along like a lot of the other programs I applied to. This was the first notification I've heard from any of my schools and I appreciate Michigan's timeliness even though I'm disappointed to be rejected.

I'm an avid climber and was texting my mom about some progress I've made lately and she excitedly responded "Wow! If you end up going to Colorado you'll have some great climbing there." I didn't have the heart to tell her about my implied rejection so I just responded with a meager "haha yeah." Talk about pouring salt on a wound...

Has anyone else literally heard nothing from the schools they applied to? Although a few of my schools have started notifying, it's complete radio silence on my end. I just want the silence to be broken so I can breathe!

I'm honestly about to get to that point. Class is just a nice distraction from this purgatorial refreshing existence, haha.

First thing I do the second I get out of class is turn on my phone and refresh every interface possible.

May or may not have just torn a telemarketer to shreds in my anxiety-ridden anger at them calling and giving me false hope that it's a school notifying.

I saw that too and posted here asking if anyone would claim it, but no one did. I have since been checking my application portal frequently, but nothing has changed other than a pending status.

Thank you so much. I was going to spend these next couple of hours between classes trying to be productive, but it looks like they will be spent furiously refreshing my portal/e-mail. (Although that habit is nothing new these days!) Congrats again on making the waitlist!

I haven't either but it doesn't feel too great. I really did like their program and I'm a bit anxious because my first news seems to be all negative/implied rejections, given that Vanderbilt also notified over the weekend. And it definitely doesn't help that Starbucks Rewards Club keeps blowing up my e-mail and giving me false hope (*forced dismissive laughter*).

Anyone want to claim the Colorado Boulder acceptance and give a little more info on the cohort size bit you included on the Results Board? Congratulations, by the way!

I didn't apply to Northwestern but I feel you on Michigan, it is definitely my dream school. (Although I'm not trying to get my hopes high for any school because you never know what curveballs you'll be thrown.)

Same. I've even acquired a new horrible routine of checking my phone in the middle of the night whenever I wake up, which results in more anxiety-ridden sleeplessness. I'm restless!

Well, given the wave of Vanderbilt acceptances and the waitlisted individual on the results board that heard a few hours ago, I'm starting to think that perhaps this is an implied rejection. What a crummy feeling. At least the schools I applied to have started notifying.
